Australian high commissioner heaps praise on Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi
Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins met Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The Punjab CM greeted the Australian High Commissioner and the people of Australia on winning the Cricket World Cup for the 6th time.
The Australian High Commissioner praised the chief minister for ensuring better public service delivery, saying that Mohsin Naqvi is a diligent and active chief minister working day and night/
"Happy to see Mohsin Naqvi visiting the parks. He is working hard. Upgradation of Lahore Zoo, Safari Park and provincial capital gardens are praiseworthy," he said and assured the chief minister of providing Lahore Zoo with kangaroos. The Australian diplomate presented a cricket ball signed by Australian captain Pat Cummins and Mark Taylor to CM Mohsin Naqvi.
Speaking on the occasion, Moshin Naqvi shed light on the measures adopted to deal with the smog. Masks have been made mandatory for citizens and with the cooperation of friendly countries, the government is obtaining advanced technology to cope with the challenge, the CM said/
He said he wanted to benefit from Australia's experience and expertise in agriculture, livestock, dairy development and technology. Information and Culture Minister Aamir Mir and IGP were also present.
