PM strongly condemns attack

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday strongly condemning the attack by Fitna al-Khawarij at the Peace Committee office in Bannu, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the attack.

In a statement, he prayed for the elevation of ranks of the departed souls in Jannah and for patience for their families.

He directed the relevant authorities to identify those responsible and ensure they received due punishment.

“Such cowardly acts, aimed at sabotaging peace efforts, expose the evil intentions of the Fitna al-Khawarij to create unrest in Pakistan,” the prime minister said adding that these cowardly actions could not, at any cost, weaken the resolve of the people.

“The entire nation stands united for the defeat of anti-state elements,” the prime minister added.

Yesterday, as many as 30 Indian-sponsored terrorists were killed in a string of intelligence-based operations in different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to an ISPR statement issued on Thursday, 19 November 2025, 23 khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Kurram District.

On the reported presence of Khwarij, a targeted operation was conducted by the security forces personnel.

During the conduct of the operation, security forces personnel effectively engaged the Khwarij location, and after an intense fire exchange, 12 Khwarij were sent to hell.

Capitalising on intelligence with respect to the presence of another group of Khwarij in the same general area in another intelligence-based operation, troops successfully neutralised 11 more Khwarij.

Hours later, in another statement, the ISPR said the security forces have killed seven more terrorists during three operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The ISPR said an intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out in KP’s Mohmand district on the reported presence of terrorists.

“During the conduct of the operation, troops effectively engaged the Khawarij’s location, and after an intense fire exchange, four Khawarij were sent to hell.”

Another IBO was conducted in the Lakki Marwat district. In the ensuing fire exchange, “two Khawarij were effectively neutralised by the security forces,” the ISPR said.

It added that during the third encounter in the Tank district, security forces killed one more terrorist.
