Fazl postpones his Karachi visit owing to friend’s death

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who is also Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) president, on Thursday postponed his visit to Karachi because he had to dash to Peshawar to attend the funeral prayer of a close associate, who was also his party leader, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
JUI-F chief, who was due to be in Karachi today (Thursday) had to put off his visit, owing to the death of Shamsur Rehman Shamsi, a JUI-F leader and his friend.
Sources told 24News that Fal would now travel to Karachi tomorrow (Friday, October 22).
