Ishaq Dar calls for Senate Session to discuss Palestine’s crisis

Senator Ishaq Dar, the Leader of the House, has formally requested Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani to convene a Senate meeting to discuss the Palestinian issue, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a letter to Chairman Sanjrani, Senator Dar highlighted the dire circumstances that have persisted in Palestine over the last ten days, resulting in the loss of numerous civilians’ lives and severe injuries.

“Thousands of children and civilians have been killed and severely injured by the brutal bombing of Israeli forces. In addition, the supply of food items, fuel, electricity, and drinking water has almost vanished due to the complete siege of the Gaza Strip by the Israeli forces resulting in a human tragedy,” he wrote.

In light of these distressing developments, Senator Ishaq Dar urged the immediate convening of a Senate meeting to address the current crisis in Palestine.

The call for action has resonated further, with the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) also lending its support to this cause.

He further wrote that Manzoor Kakar, the parliamentary leader of BAP, has formally endorsed the request for a Senate meeting, emphasizing the Senate's role in addressing pressing global issues.
