Nawaz Sharif targeted Army in APC speech: Ch Shujaat

Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain in a statement issued Monday said that PML-N supremo targeted Pakistan Army in his speech given in opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Every time Nawaz Sharif came to power, he fought with the army and weakened the institutions. He as the Prime Minister should have created national stability, unity and national security which he did not!” Chaudhry Shujaat said.
Ch Shujaat said Nawaz Sharif is not against politicians but he is against Army and those advisers who wrote Nawaz Sharif’s speech for the APC have once again put an axe on his foot, Ch Shujaat further said.
PML-Q Quaid said Nawaz Sharif declared results of the 1990 elections on his own at 12:00 PM noon while Election Commission of Pakistan had yet to announce the elections results in the evening and PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif himself requested Army to guard the polling stations, one wonders, at that time Army was good and now it is bad!
Responding to the PML-N supremo speech in APC, Shujaat said before giving remarks about the NAB’s chairman, he should have thought that Nawaz Sharif appointed him as a chairman of the anti-corruption body.
“It is not Nawaz Sharif who will make decisions but people,” he added.
Chaudhry Shujaat said the nation will not accept the decision based on the dishonesty, the TV channel reported.
“As per Nawaz Sharif, the country has been made a laboratory, but in fact he himself laid the foundation of that laboratory.”
