The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved a verdict on the admissibility of an application challenging the mandatory jab of Covid-19 vaccine, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the hearing, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minullah asked the female lawyer Shaheena Shahabuddin who was pleading the case whether she had got the Covid-19 vaccine shot? When she replied in negative, the CJ wondered how could she enter the court premises without having got the vaccine shot.
The IHC CJ further remarked that the bar and bench jointly decided that an unvaccinated person could not come to the court, and asked Deputy Attorney General Tayyab Shah that how could she enter the court despite the ban.
The CJ said since the unvaccinated female lawyer was putting other people’s lives at risk, she should not be permitted to enter the court.
The court has reserved the verdict on the admissibility of the anti-vaxxer application.
He also said that anti-vaxxers are followers of former US President Donald Trump.
