Ayeza Khan stirs debate over ‘Mr Instagram Pakistan’ title

Ayeza Khan has sparked buzz on social media after celebrating her husband, Danish Taimoor’s latest milestone, which has now turned into a debate over who truly deserves the title of the most-followed Pakistani male on Instagram.

Taking to Instagram, the actress congratulated Danish for becoming the most-followed male actor on the platform. Sharing a heartfelt note on her story, she wrote: “Congrats baby! , I have seen your fan following up close.

She added: “This is nothing compared to the love you have in real life, but these numbers reflect the amazing fans on social media who always support you!”

While the message was filled with affection, it quickly ignited discussion among fans. Supporters of fellow actor Imran Abbas questioned the claim, pointing out that he too boasts an equally massive follower count.

For many, Ayeza’s words not only highlighted the significance of digital popularity but also emphasized the deeper connection celebrities share with their admirers beyond the virtual space.

Ayeza herself remains one of Pakistan’s most-followed female stars. For years, she held the crown as the queen of Instagram until she was surpassed by actress Hania Aamir, whose playful content and youthful appeal skyrocketed her popularity.

Danish Taimoor began his career as a fashion model before stepping into acting in the mid-2000s. His early television appearances earned him recognition, but it was projects like Rehaai, Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai, Deewangi, Ishq Hai, and the widely followed Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi.

Danish also ventured into films, making his cinematic debut with Jalaibee.

Imran Abbas entered the entertainment industry as a model before transitioning to acting in 2003 with his first TV role in Umrao Jaan Ada.

His breakthrough came with the hit drama Khuda Aur Mohabbat. He went on to star in successful projects such as Dil-e-Muztar, Mera Naam Yousuf Hai, Tum Kon Piya (2016), and Koi Chand Rakh. Imran also crossed over into Bollywood, debuting opposite Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D (2014).
