PIA’s Islamabad to Jeddah flight, PK-741, which was carrying over 250 people for Umrah on Saturday, and was made to land at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport after it developed a technical fault, finally left for its destination on Sunday after a delay of almost a day, causing great inconvenience to the passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The passengers had to wait all day at the airport for the plane to take off, but it did not as the technical fault was not removed.
However, later, the airline administration shifted the passengers to a hotel and served them meals at night.
Finally, the plane left for Jeddah at 2:00 PM today after fault was removed.
