Funeral prayers of Army martyrs offered in Peshawar
The funeral prayers of the Pakistan Army martyrs, who embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire with Khwarij terrorists in Hangu were offered in Peshawar on Monday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, the Peshawar Corps Commander, the families of the martyrs, and a large number of senior civil and military officials attended the funeral prayers.
The six Pakistan Army martyrs who embraced martyrdom in exchange of fire with Khawarij in Hangu included Captain Abu Zar Farooq, Lieutenant Shiraz Babar, Sepoy Shakeel Ahmed, Sepoy Hamza, Sepoy Muhammad Usman Aziz and non-combatant Ghulam Sajjad.
Later the bodies of martyrs were shifted to their native village where they will be buried with full military honor.
On Sunday, eight militants were killed and six security personnel, including two young army officers, were martyred in an exchange of fire in Hangu district, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing said a security forces convoy came under attack from militants, triggering an intense exchange of fire.
It said troops effectively engaged the attackers and killed eight militants, whom it described as members of Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij.
