Tourists surround Nawaz Sharif at Kaghan hotel
PML-N President and former three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif has stopped at a local hotel during his visit to Besar in Naran and Kaghan Valley, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
A video clip of Nawaz Sharif having tea at the hotel and meeting local people and tourist went viral on social media.
During his visit to Besar, Nawaz Sharif also met local PML-N leaders and representatives of the Hotels Association. Matters relating to the promotion of tourism in Kaghan Valley and problems faced by tourism-related businesses were discussed.
The representatives of the Hotels Association apprised the former prime minister of the difficulties being faced by the tourism sector. Nawaz Sharif assured them of his cooperation and role in helping address their issues.
A large number of tourists and local people also gathered at the tourist spot to welcome the former prime minister.
Earlier, offered condolences over the death of former provincial minister Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah.
Nawaz Sharif visited the residence of Chief of Kaghan and former senator and provincial minister Alhaj Syed Muzammil Shah to condole the death of his elder son, Syed Akhtar Hussain Shah, who passed away after a prolonged illness.
He offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul. A large number of local notables, including office-bearers of the Naran Hotels Association, were present on the occasion.
