SC orders mobile phone companies to follow govt’s policy

The Supreme Court has declared null and void the High Court’s decision regarding the closure of mobile services on particular occasions, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

While accepting the government’s appeal, the apex court on Wednesday directed the mobile service companies to redefine their priorities and to fall in line with the government’s policy.

“The foreign companies should not make fun of national interests,” Justice Umer Atta Bandial remarked.
