Gang war takes two lives in Mandi Bahuddin

SHO injured while trying to broker peace

Two notorious criminals were killed in a 'gang war' between two rival groups in Mandi Bahuddin while a police station head was seriously injured during his efforts to maintain law and order in the area, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.
According to the details, in the Dhok Saharan area, a shootout occurred between the two groups of criminals. Police Station Saddar officials led by SHO Sub-Inspector Hassan Manza reached the spot to control the law and order situation.
Both criminal gangs started straight firing toward the police, resultantly, SHO Hassan Hamza sustained a bullet injury to his neck.
The police team immediately shifted the SHO to the District Head Quarters (DHQ) hospital Mandi Bahuddin for medical treatment.
As per the police sources, during the exchange of fire between two gangs, two notorious criminals, identified as Jaber and Riyaz, were killed by their accomplices.
The police said that the deceased criminals were wanted in multiple cases including murder, attempted murder, robbery, and other criminal activities.
