Newly-appointed three permanent judges of Peshawar High Court take oath

Newly appointed three judges of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) took the oath as permanent judges, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Monday.

Chief Justice of the PHC Justice Qasim Khan administered the oath to the newly appointed permanent judges--Justice Fazal Subhan, Justice Shahid Khan, and Justice Khurshid Iqbal.

The oath-taking ceremony of three permanent judges was attended by the judges of the PHC, the Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and prominent lawyers of the Peshawar Bar.

With these appointments, the number of permanent judges in the Peshawar High Court has reached 14. 

The approval for the permanent appointments of Justice Fazal Subhan, Justice Shahid Khan, and Justice Khurshid Iqbal was granted by President Asif Ali Zardari.
