FIA busts Karachi gang involved in selling fake medicines

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle (CCC) team busted a gang who is involved in selling fake medicines in Karachi and putting the lives of innocent people at risk, reported 24News HD TV Channel on Wednesday.
According to details, after receiving credible intelligence report from FIA director, a team of FIA raided Irfan Medicos near Gizri Bridge and impounded the forged medicines.
During the raid, FIA team also arrested supervisor Yasin. Later, the FIA team said that they also registered a case against owner of the medical store Malik Irfan.
Further investigations were underway in this regard and more details about the scam is likely to unearthed.
