Naqvi orders joint strategy of Defense and Interior Ministries for public convenience at airports

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired a special meeting of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior to devise a joint strategy for the convenience of the public at airports, reported 24News.

It was decided that in order to make the checking system efficient, the latest machinery will be installed at airports and joint counters will be established bedsides a single-point checking system. 

The participants of the meeting decided to ensure effective coordination between all the concerned agencies. The progress on the installation of e-gates was also reviewed.

Interior Minister Naqvi stressed on providing faster clearance and easy travel facilities to the passengers. He said, joint checking of all agencies on a single scanner will save time. 

He said that only through coordination between institutions can bring efficiency in the system for the travelers. Mohsin Naqvi said, “It is our commitment to provide modern, fast and easy travel facilities to the public.”
