President Trump’s admin suspends transfer of US dollars to Iraq

The Trump administration has suspended the transfer of US dollars to Iraq, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to the US newspaper Wall Street Journal reports, the US has also frozen security cooperation programmes with the Iraqi army.
The Trump administration's move is to increase pressure on Iran-backed militias.
The US Treasury Department had stopped a cargo plane carrying $500 million in US currency.
