Chairman City News Network Afzal Naqvi passes away

Chairman of the City News Network Syed Afzal Naqvi passed away in Lahore on Sunday afternoon.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, his funeral prayers would be offered on Tuesday at 10 am at his residence 37D Model Town, Lahore.
Syed Afzal Naqvi was also a social leader who paid several services for the promotion of education and journalist in the country. He had inaugurated a television channel City21 a few days ago.
Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Punjab Assembly Speaker Parvez Elahi expressed grief and sorrow on the death of Syed Afzal Naqvi and condoled with the family from the deep heart.
Punjab Governor Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Moonis Elahi, Salik Hussain, Shafay Hussain and other politicians expressed their grief and sorrow on his death

And Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) patron Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed grief over the death of City News Network Chairman Syed Afzal Naqvi and prayed for the high ranks of the deceased soul.
They said Syed Afzal Naqvi was an elegant and sociable man and the City News Network employees lost a great leader.
Some prominent figures of the society like Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chaudhary Salik, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Sohail Warriach, Sohail Zia Butt, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Bilal Akbar, Taimur Akbar, Shahid Qadar, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Sheikh Shahid and Umar Sohail Zia Butt arrived to the Model Town residence of him and expressed grief with the family.
