The federal government of Nawaz League has decided to appoint Islamabad Chief Commissioner Captain (Retired) Muhammad Usman as Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the federal cabinet approved the appointment of Capt (Retd) Usman as CDA Chairman through a circulation summary on Monday.
The sources said that Capt (Retd) Usman as Islamabad Chief Commissioner is an ex-officio member of the CDA Board and at present, the post of CDA Chairman is vacant.
The federal government had removed Amir Ali Ahmad from the post of CDA Chairman.
