Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday appointed Dr Nadeem Javaid as Chief Economist of the country and a member of the Economic Policy Planning Commission.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Establishment division has issued a notification of Dr Nadeem as Chief Economist after the approval of the PM.

Dr Nadeem Javaid is appointed as the Chief Economist on a contract of 2 years.
