Secretary denies President Alvi's allegations, demands inquiry into bills issue

President's House Secretary Waqar Ahmed Monday denied the allegations of President Dr Arif Alvi and demanded holding an inquiry into the matter of the [controversial] bills.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Secretary Waqar Ahmed wrote a letter on his removal from the President's House.
In the letter, Secretary Waqar Ahmed requested an inquiry into the allegations of the President regarding the Official Secrets Act and the Army Act Amendment Bills.
Secretary Waqar Ahmed said in the letter that if the court will summon him on this matter, he will appear before the court as he was ready for any investigation and court inquiry with records.
He further stated in the letter that the President's office did not send both bills to the Secretary's office when he was on the post.
He also confirmed that the President has not issued any written decision on the two bills and neither approved nor rejected the bills.
The secretary also disclosed the facts about the processing of two bills to clarify his position in this regard.
