A flight from Qatar to Nepal made an emergency landing in Karachi due to a medical emergency, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Thursday.

According to aviation sources, a passenger on board flight QR 652 fell seriously ill while the plane was in Pakistani airspace.

The pilot contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) to request permission for an emergency landing.

Following the instructions of the air traffic controller, the pilot diverted the plane from Sukkur to Karachi.

Flight QR 652 made the emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport at 8:15 AM, where a medical team is currently attending to the passenger.
