Govt releases Rs2.87 billion dues of Steel Mills employees

Good news for Pakistan Steel Mills employees as a large amount of outstanding dues of steel mill employees has been released, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The federal government has released an amount of more than Rs2.87 billion to the steel mill.
The Ministry of Industries and Production had requested the federation to release the amount.
It was decided to release the amount to pay the dues of the employees in the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
The federal government has given the steel mill an amount of more than Rs2.87 billion on a 20-year loan.
The steel mill will repay this amount with interest in 20 years.
