More senior officers transferred, posted by federal government
The federal government on Friday issued orders for the appointment and transfer of several senior officers.
According to official notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Additional IG of the Police Service of Pakistan, Grade 21, Muhammad Wisal Fakhar Sultan, posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been transferred and his services have been handed over to the National Highways and Motorway Police.
Commodore (Retd) Muhammad Jawad Akhtar has been appointed as Technical Advisor in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. He has been appointed on a contract basis in the MP-1 scale for 3 years.
On the other hand, with the approval of the Prime Minister, five members have been appointed in the Ministry of Commerce.
According to the notification of the Establishment Division, Umar Dad Afridi, Javed Iqbal Khan and Muhammad Hamood-ur-Rauf have been appointed from the public sector, while Muhammad Rauf Khan and Rafat Inam Butt have been appointed from the private sector on a contract basis in the MP-1 scale for three years.
These appointments have been made under the MP Scales Policy 2020.
Furthermore, Chief Scientific Officer at the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council Dr Murtaza Hassan Andrabi has been assigned the additional charge of Chairman of the institution, which will continue for three months or until the appointment of a permanent Chairman.
In addition, the additional charge of PTV managing director assigned to Secretary of the Ministry of Information Ambrain Jan has been further extended, which will be effective until his retirement on October 22, 2025 or until the appointment of a permanent MD.
Meanwhile, the services of Deputy Secretary Ministry of Climate Change Rashid Javed Rana have been returned to the FBR.
