Senate, NA sessions start at 4pm today

Sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly (NA) will be held at the Parliament House in Islamabad today (Wednesday) at 4pm separately, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Both the Houses will discuss matters pertaining to national and international importance. The Senate session will be held under the chair of the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sinjrani. The Senate has issued an 11-point agenda including debate on the Sahiwal tragedy.
As per the order of the Senate, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Finance and Revenue Shaukat Fayaz Ahmed Tarin to lay before the Senate the annual report for the financial year 2020-21 of the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on the state of Pakistan’s economy along with statistical supplement as required under section 9A (2) of the State Bank of Pakistan Act, 1956.
Senator Mohammad Humayun Mohmand Chairman Standing Committee on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, will present report of the Committee on the Bill further to amend the Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues Act, 2010 [The Transplantation of Human Organs and Tissues (Amendment) Bill, 2021], introduced by Senators Sana Jamali and Seemee Ezdi on 27th September, 2021.
Chairman Standing Committee on Railways Senator Muhammad Qasim to present report of the Committee on the subject matter of starred question No. 17, asked by Senator Danesh Kumar on 14th July, 2021, regarding non-inclusion of Balochistan province in ML-1 project, reasons thereof and the steps to be taken by the Government to improve Railway service in Balochistan.
Chairman Standing Committee on Water Resources Senator Musadik Masood Malik to present report of the Committee on the subject matter of starred question No. 3, asked by Senator Fida Muhammad on 13th July, 2021, regarding details/table of underground water level in every district of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last ten years, ascertainment of decrease in water level in the whole country and the steps taken by the Government to cope with the issue.
