ATC adjourns Nov 26 protest case hearing till January 2, 2026

Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi has adjourned the hearing of November 26 protest case against PTI’s 11 workers and leaders including Aleema Khanum, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.  

ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah adjourned the hearing of the case till January 2, 2026. During the hearing, a total of 8 witnesses' statements were recorded. A total of 16 witnesses' statements were recorded in the case. The hearing of the case continued for about five hours. During the hearing, sticks, flags, slingshots, and knives recovered from the arrested accused were presented to the court.

During the hearing, the accused Aleema Khanum also appeared in court. Special Prosecutor Zaheer Shah appeared in court along with the team. Aleema Khan's lawyer Faisal Malik was also present.

Talking to media outside court, Faisal Malik claimed that Nov 26 case worst example of political victimization. He said Aleema Kha filed bail plea while the prosecution was set to finalize the case.

Imran Khan’s sister Aleema khan said that Nov 26 protest call was given by Imran Khan and there was a peaceful protest. Aleema said she was accused of bring the message of Imran Khan to the public. Aleema said police official were produced as witness against PTI. 

She said justice system has been winded up in the country. Aleema said good judges are being sidelined. Aleema said Imran Khan always talked about rule of law. She said bogus cases have been registered against entire PTI leadership.
