Apart from Shehbaz, other PML-N leaders are also invited to the dinner to be hosted by Zardari.
Former president Zardari on Monday held an exclusive meeting with Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) head Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence and discussed the number-game on the no-trust motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Both the leaders decided to give tough time to the government by maintaining contacts with the parliamentarians.
Zardari arrived at Maulana’s residence in Islamabad where Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Akram Khan Durrani, and Maulana Asad Mahmood warmly welcomed him. In the meeting, they discussed consultations on the no-confidence motion and contacts with allies.
According to the declaration issued after the meeting, Zardari said preparations for the no-trust move were complete and government members were also in touch with the opposition.
Zardari said allies of the ruling party were also fed up with the government and the eyes of the people were on the opposition now.
In the meeting, Maulana Fazl said the selected government had lost the trust of the people and this time the opposition would move after taking all the parties in confidence.
