February 23, 2023 06:09 AM

The Balochistan High Court (BHC) Wednesday declared the salary deduction of the government employees in the name of aid to quake-hit people of Turkiye and Syria null and void, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The BHC said that the salary deduction of the government employees without their permission was unlawful and abuse of power.

The court annulled the act of salary deduction, declaring it unconstitutional.

“The act of deducting from the salaries of the government employees is against the law,” Ali Ahmad Kakar Advocate had argued before the court.

“The law does not allow to deduct from the salaries of the government employees without their permission,” he had added.
