Punjab University to suspend 12 students involved in violent clash

Punjab University administration has decided to suspend 12 students involved in a violent clash at the campus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

As per the details, the clash has occurred over the gender studies course.

The clash was held within the university premises between the Baloch-Pashtuns students and the workers. During the fight, three students were injured.

According to the Punjab University administration, along with the suspension of students an inquiry will also be initiated against them.

Moreover, the students involved in the matter will be fined as well as expelled from the university.

Furthermore, there was a fight between the student organizations the day before.
