Balochistan Animal Husbandry Dept's three vehicles are worth Rs80,000 only
Expressing its displeasure over telling the cost of three stolen vehicles of Balochistan Animal Husbandry Department much less than their actual cost, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the government of Balochistan, which met with Asghar Tarin in the chair on Saturday, ordered the recovery of the total amount from the department employees who were responsible for the theft of these vehicles, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The committee noted with concern that the actual price of these vehicles was Rs2.4 million, but their price was estimated at Rs80,000 only.
The committee also took notice of the use of the department’s vehicles by unauthorized persons and ordered that former provincial ministers and other people presently using these vehicles, who are not supposed to use them, must return them immediately.
The committee also directed that in this regard the report should also be submitted to it.
