FBR sings to Atif Aslam’s tune on tax evasion

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to withdraw imposition of income tax worth millions on renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The FBR Commissioner Appeals announced the decision giving the singer another opportunity to submit documentary evidence in the FBR.

The FBR has recently asked the singer to pay Rs58.7 million as income within a month's notice over tax evasion. After the FBR audited the singer’s income for the year 2018, it allegedly sent the singer tax notices that amount to Rs58.7 million.
