Snowfall wallops Murree, Balochistan; Punjab cities receive rain
Snow covers Koh-e-Suoleman in South Punjab and Babu Sar Top in KP

Heavy snowfall occurred in Murree hill station and in several parts of Balochistan while Punjab cities received intermittent rain on Saturday adding more chill to the already cold weather, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rain/snow wind-thunderstorm (with few heavy falls/hails storm) occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, north Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
Parachinar and Kalam received nine inches of snowfall while other tourist spots including Yak Bai Top (Koh-e-Suoleman) in South Punjab and Babu Sar Top in KP have now been covered with snow. The snowcapped mountain presented scenic views for the tourists.

In Azad Kashmir, continuous rains and snowfall in the upper areas were affecting daily life.
Due to heavy snowfall, land connection between Lepa Valley and Upper Neelum Valley has been cut off.
The weather office predicted that fog is likely to prevail in upper Sindh and few plain areas of Punjab.
Moreover, rain continued in the low lying areas of Haveli Kahuta in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) while snowfall continues in the upper areas.
Neel Free, Lisdana, Mahmud Gali, Main Sir, Bedori, Seri Meadows are also covered with white sheet of snow.

Snow and rain have also decreased the mercury cutting off communication roads of the district with the other district of AJK.
Also, the main highway Abbaspur Mahmood Gali Road to Rawalpindi is also not available for traffic.
Rawalpindi Police ASP Murree Waqas Khan advised tourists that more snow and rain till Monday.
He said that Rawalpindi Police is committed to ensure the convenience and safe travel of tourists and asked citizens to call Police in case of emergency at15 and at Control Room No 051-9269200 or 0309-7770598.
