ECP uses 2070 tons of paper for ballot papers in general elections

In the General Election 2024, the highest number of ballots are being printed in the country's history and 2070 tons of paper has been used for this purpose.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the number of candidates participating in the February 8 elections is more than the previous eight elections.
The channel report said that the Election Commission has also started working on the availability of paper for ballot papers for the by-elections after the general elections.
The sources said that the availability of paper for the by-elections will be done in proportion to the seats that fall vacant after the general elections.
