AVM Yasir Saleem replaces AVM Nasir Khattak as additional secretary in Ministry of Defence

The federal government on Thursday announced a series of transfers and postings within the federal bureaucracy, according to official notifications issued by the Establishment Division.

Air Vice Marshal Nasir Khattak, who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, has retired. Following his retirement, Air Vice Marshal Yasir Saleem has been appointed Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence. The appointment has been made on a secondment basis in accordance with the prevailing rules and regulations.

Several Section Officers have been transferred across federal ministries and divisions. Section Officer Maria Gul has been transferred from the National Security Division to the Cabinet Division, while Section Officer Asadullah has been moved from the Overseas Pakistanis Division to the Cabinet Division.

Additionally, Section Officer Maria Azhar has been transferred from the Cabinet Division to the Economic Affairs Division and Section Officer Amna Farooq has been posted from the Cabinet Division to the Ministry of Climate Change.

In another development, Asad Ali, who was awaiting appointment, has been appointed Section Officer in the Water Resources Division.

The Establishment Division has formally issued notifications regarding all the above appointments and transfers.
