Mawra Hocane turns Barbie in new glamorous transformation
Actress Mawra Hocane has embraced a full Barbie-inspired transformation in her latest Instagram post, shared in collaboration with Ansa Jahangir Studio for the launch of a new apparel collection.
Mawra posted a carousel of pictures announcing the upcoming collection titled “Glam Doll House,” which is set to launch on January 23, 2026.
The post is paired with a Barbie-themed song by Ava Max, perfectly complementing the playful and glamorous aesthetic of the photoshoot. Captioning the post, Mawra wrote, “Not your Barbie girl, but definitely drooling over this Dollhouse collection.”
The photoshoot follows a carefully curated Barbie-inspired theme, dominated by shades of pink, including dusty pink, light pink, and deep pink tones. The set design features silk and linen curtains in pink tints, balloons, vintage-style telephones and white-and-pink suitcases, creating a dreamy dollhouse atmosphere.
The collection itself is crafted from silk fabric and is set to launch soon. The colour palette includes lavender, light pink, light yellow and black. Besides Mawra, other models are also featured wearing pieces from the collection.
Mawra strikes a variety of fun and playful poses throughout the shoot. In some frames, she is seen reading a pink paper that reads “Book now the collection,” while in others she holds heart-shaped balloons and carries a suitcase. One image shows her wearing pink under-eye masks, adding a quirky self-care touch. In another, she admires herself in the mirror while wearing earrings. A striking frame features multiple mobile phones surrounding her as she rests her hands on her ears, playfully portraying being overwhelmed by calls. In yet another look, her hair is styled in a bow-shaped bubble braid, further enhancing the Barbie aesthetic.
Earlier, Mawra teased the shoot by sharing a sneak peek reel, building anticipation among fans. The post quickly caught attention, with fans gushing over her Barbie-inspired look. The comments section was flooded with pink heart emojis, as admirers praised her for effortlessly pulling off the transformation and called the look stunning and gorgeous.

She is widely recognised for her work in popular drama serials and for her Bollywood debut Sanam Teri Kasam. Known for her expressive acting, Mawra holds a degree in law and often balances her acting career with academic pursuits.
