The Association of Former Ambassadors (AFA) Thursday strongly condemned the killing of the daughter ex-ambassador Shaukat Ali Muqaddam, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.

In a press release, called upon the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) take notice of it to provide the family of Noor Muqaddam with justice and set an example to curb such a crime.

The AFA also urged the Islamabad police and prosecutor to get hold of all previous medical and criminal record of the culprit as supervision of this case would help reduce alarmingly high crime against women in Islamabad.

The association appreciated the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi for offering all-out support to the bereaved family in pursuit of justice.

The AFA lauding the foreign secretary’s participation in the funeral as support for the victimized family.

The association feared fear that the murderer may be made to escape the country using his dual nationality so his name should be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).

The AFA Secretary General Sanaullah also demanded the authorities that it should be ensured about the culprit that he would not use his family influence and power to slip away from the country.
