Three dacoits killed in police encounters in Sarai Alamgir, Gujranwala

Three unidentified dacoits lost their lives and one received critical injuries during police encounters in Sarai Alamgir and Gujranwala, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The first police encounter took place in Kund Sharif area located in Rakh Pabbi Sarai Alamgir. 

Sources said that after receiving credible information about the presence of some proclaimed offenders, the Crime Control Department (CCD) and a local police team from Bolani Police Station started a joint operation in the Donga area, which is located between Sarai Alamgir and Kharian.

During heavy exchange of firing, the dacoits received serious bullet injuries and breathed their last. The CCD team and police started a search operation to apprehend the remaining proclaimed offenders.

Moreover, one notorious dacoit Faisal Hameed was killed and another was injured in two police encounters in Gujranwala.

Sources said that a CCD team tried to intercept him while he was going to commit robbery, but his companions opened fire on the police team.

During the exchange of heavy firing, dacoit Faisal Hameed died by the firing of his companions. Later, all his colleagues escaped from the scene.

In another police encounter, a local dacoit, namely Nadeem became seriously injured when his colleagues opened fire on the CCD team.

Later, the CCD team arrested the injured dacoit.
