Bilawal to address public meeting in Mirpur today

Political activity has intensified in Mirpur as Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is set to address a public rally at Quaid-e-Azam Stadium today, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

Preparations at the venue have been completed, with the stage, sound system and lighting arrangements finalised. 

The stadium has been decorated with PPP flags, while seating has been arranged to accommodate a large gathering of supporters expected from across the district.

Party workers have already begun arriving in Mirpur from the constituencies of LA-1 Dadyal, LA-2 Chakswari, LA-3 Mirpur City and LA-4 Khari.

Local leaders expect a strong turnout, describing the rally as a significant show of political strength ahead of the polls.

Welcome banners and billboards have been displayed across the city, while party workers have completed arrangements to receive the PPP chairman.

Authorities have implemented comprehensive security measures for the event. 

A heavy police contingent has been deployed at the venue, with strict checking at all entry and exit points. 

Walk-through gates have been installed, and a traffic management plan has been introduced, with residents advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
