Dar arrives in Philippines to attend ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial meeting 

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in the Philippines to attend the ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar will represent Pakistan at the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum Ministerial Meeting.

Ishaq Dar expected to attend the plenary session of the ASEAN Regional Forum.During the visit, Ishaq Dar will also hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers of various countries.

Senior officials of the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs welcomed Ishaq Dar at the airport.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the Philippines Asma Rabbani also welcomed Ishaq Dar. Senior officials of the Pakistani embassy also welcomed the deputy prime minister.

Pakistan’s diplomatic activities are likely to intensify on the occasion of the ASEAN Regional Forum.Pakistan will reiterate its commitment to promoting peace, stability and cooperation in the region.

Ishaq Dar will present Pakistan’s position on important regional and global issues.
