Governor approves formation of 12-member Gilgit-Baltistan cabinet

The Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, Syed Mehdi Shah, has approved the summary submitted by the Chief Minister for the formation of a 12-member provincial cabinet, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the approved cabinet comprises five ministers from the Baltistan Division, five from the Gilgit Division, and two from the Diamer-Astore Division, ensuring representation from all major regions of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Following the governor's approval, the cabinet department is expected to issue a formal notification announcing the constitution of the provincial cabinet.

Sources said the cabinet will include Syed Jalal, Zulfiqar Murad, Haji Dilpazeer, Muhammad Naseem, Syed Tauqeer and Haji Anwar. 

Raja Nasir, Waqar Hassan, Muhammad Ali Akhtar, Saadia Danish and Aman Ali will also serve as members of the provincial cabinet.
