Why Yumna Zaidi unfollowed Tabish Khoja, reason revealed
A discussion about professional criticism and celebrity reactions took center stage during an episode of a morning show, where host Zohaib Hassan claimed that actress Yumna Zaidi had unfollowed stylist and fashion commentator Tabish Khoja over criticism of her work.
Zohaib Hassan asked Tabish whether Yumna had unfollowed him on social media because of his remarks about her dressing style.
Tabish, however, said he was unaware of any such unfollow and did not confirm the claim.
He went on to share that one actress had genuinely been upset by his criticism and later complained to one of his friends and asking why he had made those remarks despite their friendship.
Tabish chose not to reveal the actress's identity and gave an explaination his stance, Tabish said he believes personal relationships should not influence professional opinions.
"Friendship is separate, my profession is separate. If someone asks me for professional advice, I'm going to give them unbiased professional advice," he said.
Yumna Zaidi is one of Pakistan's most celebrated actresses, known for delivering critically acclaimed performances in dramas such as Pyar Ke Sadqay, Bakhtawar, Tere Bin, Gentleman and Qarz-e-Jaan.
