The Establishment Division has granted the Ministry of Interior an NOC for getting nine assistants directors and 149 inspectors posted through the Federal Public Service Commission.

According to the establishment division, the postings will be made through the Federal Public Service Commission and the vacancies will be publicized soon. An assistant director post ranks 17 grade and an inspector grade 16.  The postings will be made in accordance with Recruitment Policy 2014.

The ministry has been on recruitment drive for quite some time. Earlier in the month, the job hunt made the FIA job portal link down and making the interior minister extend the dates of applying for thousands of posts up to grade 15. In March, Prime Minister Imran Khan gave go-ahead for a thousand posts in the agency. Last year, the federal cabinet decided to fill 129,301 vacant posts.
