According to the initial post-mortem report of deceased Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party leader Senator Usman Kakar, brain hemorrhage was said to be the cause of death, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The funeral prayers were offered in Karachi and were attended by different political and religious leaders and workers. The funeral prayers were offered at Bagh-e-Jinnah Ground, opposite to the Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam.

The body of Usman Kakar shifted to Quetta. The post-mortem report revealed there were no signs of torture or bruises on the body.

Sources said the dead body of Usman Kakar was brought to the Aga Khan Hospital where the body went through craniotomy surgery before the post-mortem which caused a delay in post-marten.

Hospital officials said that a complete report comprising chemical and pathological checkup of the dead body will be issued in a few days.
