NSC meeting gets underway at PM House in Islamabad

The Parliament’s National Security Committee (NSC) meeting has got underway at Prime Minister House, Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources have told 24News that federal ministers, the National Assembly speaker, Senate chairman, the army chief, DG ISI and DGMO are also present at the meeting, which is being chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
High-ranking military officials will brief the country’s civilian leadership about the country’s security situation, particularly about progress made on negotiations with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), before the question-answer session.
