The Punjab home department on Wednesday placed a ban on the collection of animals’ hides by defunct outfits following Eidul Azha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The department asked the people not to donate hides to these outfits. 

It also made it clear that action would be taken against the outfit found involved in this practice. “And if citizens are interested in giving hides, they can only do so after obtaining a no objection certificate (NOC) from the concerned commissioner,” the department said.
