Star cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi in a video posted on his official twitter account appealed the rich people of Pakistan to help the poor people with ration in the time of crisis being faced across the country due to the pandemic coronavirus.
Afridi said that around 20 percent people with privileges have stocked the ration for coming days but on the other hand the poor people have no resources to buy and use the hand sanitizers as these essential items have been stocked by the have-ones.
He shared that he has also started distributing the ration bags in a village that was facing difficulties due to the scarcity of ration.
Afridi said that Islam has tremendously encouraged us to help the poor quoting the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) hadith "None of you will be a believer until you love for your brother what you love for yourself."
“The poor cannot afford the high prices of these sanitizers or ration. I appeal all people who loved me and supported me, to come forward and support the poor people,” Afridi said.
“Let’s get united and show that we are one nation”, Afridi said. https://twitter.com/SAfridiOfficial/status/1241637927614103553
