Buzdar seeks more amenities, privileges for former chief ministers   

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar Tuesday showed his will to increase the privileges and amenities of the former Chief Ministers (CMs) by calling a summary from the Implementation & Coordination (I&C) Department.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Punjab CM sought details of the already available amenities and privileges of the former provincial executives from the department.
The I&C department has sent a formal summary of the amenities and privileges already given to the former CMs. The summary also recommended more privileges and amenities for them
By amending the law, some recommendations were also made to increase the security and protocol of the former CMs.
As per the summary recommendations, two elite police vehicles will be provided for the security of the former CMs.
Recommendations in the summary have also been made to increase the number of personal employees for the former CMs to more than five along with allowing them to stay in any government rest house.
