Former chief minister of Punjab Usman Buzdar will not appear before the National Accountability Bureau today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The anti-corruption watchdog sent a call-up notice to the former chief minister on Wednesday seeking his reply in an assets beyond means case. 

But Mr Buzdar sent his written note to the NAB Lahore, saying that he would be unable to appear before the bureau due to his personal engagement in Dera Ghazi Khan but could appear any time next week. 

However, the former chief minister submitted his written reply regarding the case to the NAB.
