Federal govt fires four law officers

Federal government has fired four law officers who were following Centre’s cases in Lahore High Court, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The law officers who were terminated are Deputy Attorney General Javed Ghumman, Deputy Attorney General Jafir Hussain, Assistant Attorney General Umar Tariq Gull and Assistant Attorney General Tayyab Hassan Siddiqui. 

After the approval of the competent authority, the Ministry of Law and Justice de-notified the four law officers.

Meanwhile, President of Pakistan approves appointment of two new law officers. Law Ministry issues notification after President's approval. Syed Masoodul Hassan Advocate and Asif Khan Advocate have been appointed as Assistant Attorney Generals. Both law officers will perform duties in courts of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
