A gas leak on the third floor of a house in PIB, Nafeesabad, triggered a powerful explosion on the second day of Eid (Sunday), leaving three people injured, including two women and a child.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the blast caused a portion of the house wall to collapse, and debris falling from the structure resulted in injuries to a child as well.
Police and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene to provide assistance and evacuate the injured to nearby hospitals.
Emergency response operations are ongoing as authorities assess the damage and ensure the safety of neighbouring residents.
Officials have urged residents to remain cautious and check gas connections regularly to prevent similar accidents in the future.
