A rickshaw driver who fell head over heels in love with a beggar woman got married to the love of his life at a Larkana court but the couple is facing threats to their lives, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Reportedly, rickshaw driver Ghulam Bashir Umrani who runs his auto in Karachi fell for a beggar woman Azra Solangi.

Umrani used to drive his rickshaw at the same place where Azra would beg for alms. They both fell in love and decided to get married. He solemnized his marriage in a session court of Larkana.

Now Umrani feared for his own and his wife’s life because Azra’s parents were disapproved of their marriage. He said they were receiving life threats from Azra’s parents.

The poor couple appealed to the authorities to provide them protection.
